Big D brought up a very valid point on how much one can access on the admin port despite only given a local TEDIT PW as follows:

Big D's correct. I think if someone only has just LOCAL TEDIT access, they should not be able to even access this menu, which should be only for global administrators. Local TEDIT gameops should be only be able to go straight to the game that they have access to and that should be it.

I think this defeats the purpose of a local TEDIT PW because a gameop can still at least spy on a node or do other things listed on the remote menu.

Maybe there can be a way for someone given local TEDIT access only to only give him exactly that - local TEDIT access, meaning he then cannot see the remote menu. Do I make sense?

I agree I think this feature is very useful IF we can get this issue addressed. But without Addressing it ..the feature isnt able to be used at it's fullest potential.

I've reworked a lot of the remote admin and recently took a look at what a local op can and cannot do. The version that's in testing right now only allows you to spy on the game(s) you have access to. Anyone who's admining a game on the beta server, let me know if there are suggestions on how to improve it. Otherwise, I'll await feedback from ops once it's in public release.
