Big D brought up a very valid point on how much one can access on the admin port despite only given a local TEDIT PW as follows:

You better look at your twgs remote log in menu SG. And you don't have to use an individual game password to access that menu. Helix knows full well what he can do in tedit as much as he has used it on his own server, and that's the ONLY reason he agreed do a DM is when he thought he'd have an advantage.
Trade Wars 2002 Game Server Remote Command Menu
<1> Cycle Server
<2> Disable Server
<3> Disable Logins
<4> View Stats
<5> Disable Alien Manager
<6> Run external maintenance
<7> Spy on node <-------------------------------------------- Pay close attention to this option.
<8> Reboot system
<9> Display game logs
<*> Exit RCM
<Q> Quit
Selection (? for menu):
Big D's correct. I think if someone only has just LOCAL TEDIT access, they should not be able to even access this menu, which should be only for global administrators. Local TEDIT gameops should be only be able to go straight to the game that they have access to and that should be it.
I think this defeats the purpose of a local TEDIT PW because a gameop can still at least spy on a node or do other things listed on the remote menu.
Maybe there can be a way for someone given local TEDIT access only to only give him exactly that - local TEDIT access, meaning he then cannot see the remote menu. Do I make sense?
