I thought no bugs got fixed. Just new ones added.

For those of you not involved in the early years beta testing, both HVS and TWGS '98 - '02, you need to realize that this IS going to be an ongoing project until the game is entirely stable.

This is the beauty of the beast, fix or change one thing and something else breaks that wasn't broken before.

It ain't over! Please keep your eyes peeled and report bugs to JP.

And thank you for playing the HHT on the beta wide release!

One bug that did get fixed is that you still get fig hit messages with cn6 off

You should get the "Your fighters" message that shows a fig was killed with cn6 off but NOT the entered sector or is attacking or retreated messages. I used cn6 to reduce visual spam in alien games while still watching the grid. Turn cn6 to off then watch for player hits. Hitting the "|" key or alternately CN7
should turn off fighits.

Do you have a screen cap or other details?

Following up, I can see one other pathway that might lead to the same situation I addressed before. In the earlier situation, if you get a fig lock, but then answer "no" to the "proceed" prompt, the fig lock would continue to decay and trigger a drop from the planet to the command prompt (or from any prompt to the previous prompt). In this second pathway, if there isn't a valid course to the destination sector, you can still get the fig lock, but then you'll abort the move, leaving the fig lock active, and, again, dropping to previous menu when the lock decays. Does that sound like what you're seeing here?

We had zero decay. I locked onto a sector by hand, they hit it, it
decayed and instantly dropped me to command.
