In a Game on Ice 9 I got #SD# invading a planet and forgot to stop TWX before going to bed so it was attempting to login at extern. Now this morning I am locked out, no message or anything, here is the snippet of what I see. I sent a message to V'Ger but it was my understanding this had been fixed?

Did you try to reset TWX? It's possible it's a database or software issue. Close everything related to TW, reload them and try again.

Looks like the same TL bug. Have Vger check?

It looks like the T/L bug, but eliminating all other possibilities is wise before coming to a conclusion. It's possible that he did relog in after extern and just ran out of time.

I was on my telneting in from my phone when I tried logging in at 3am, so no TWX to get in the way. V'Ger reset it but it appears that issue is still not fixed.

Nope 8 hour TL and my laptop is set to auto shutdown at 12:15 Plus in my other post I checked at 3am.

Doh... did I log in as Toyman again.... I'm so confused

More than likely it's the old time bug then. If you are online from 11pm until midnight and run out of time, for some reason the TWGS still recognizes you as logged into the game until after midnight, therefor your time doesn't get reset until after the following midnight.

Only relogging as far as the "T" menu solves this problem on timelimit games.

I have always had to go back to the main menu then return to the game menu before the game would let me log back in

Toyman, if you could ask VGer to send me a TWA of the game while this bug is happening, I'll be able to trace the login and see exactly what's happening here.

And while we are on it...Logging out in sector brings me to "T" menu

Personally I don't think it matters any because u do a exit/enter from sector but i thought i'd mention it as variable behavior by the game.

I sent the request to Vger, this is the first time it has happened to me in a long time. Normally I close TWX and don't worry about it but last night I forgot so I am sure it was constantly trying to relog while I was afk.

It's messy the way the game handles "out of time" when connecting. No message, just drops you suddenly from the first pause. I'd like to clean that up. The game is supposed to give you a message stating that you're out of time for the day. So I'll look at that.

I could drop you to "T" menu from Cit if that won't cause anyone problems.

i would love that change because it saves you from having to know the game letter in your script when you exit/enter from the citadel.
