Re: Have you concidered a time "bank" to go with turn bank?

Originally, the point of a time limit was to guarantee that everyone could get each day to play their turns, back when the game only allowed one player at a time. Nowadays the time limit is used to keep bots from monitoring the game 24/7. So while it might be useful to be able to roll over some time along with turns, it can't be so much that it defeats the purpose of time limits today. If time limit is 2 hours, maybe allowing you to bank to a maximum of twice that would be useful. I don't know that I'll do this, just thinking it through.
A very tight time limit. 1 min per 10 turns as an example. I'm thinking back when bbs door games were only allowed 1 hour per day, so a 500 turn game would get you 50 min. play time. if there's a two day bank you get 1:40 to play 1k turns. 3 day turn bank would mean 2:30 for 1500 turns.
I think this is more of what I ment but was too generous with the time bank in my first post.
A tighter time limit would simulate the restrictions of the old dial-up bbs if you wanted to play daily, but if you wanted to bank a day or two turns, why not bank the time as well? 50 min. per 500 turns sounds reasonable.
