Unread post Delayed start time
Currently, when you schedule a game to start on a given date, that's not the "bang date", it's the "open date". This means that if you bang a game and set it to open in 10 days, when that game opens it'll be 10 days old. I'm curious how much of an issue this will be? Do I need to add the ability for TWGS to reset the game age to 0 when it automatically opens?

I guess that would depend on the edit, and if there were aggressive Gold aliens.

Personally, I don't mind an aged game.

It throws off some counters, but mostly it's a port issue. Ports start giving experience, which makes life tougher as a blue. If the ports get too old, then the game shifts very strongly to red play as reds won't need to bust up.

It would be nice if it could reset the game age upon opening.
