Ok, I'm seeing it now. Seems to be a strange buffering issue rather than a simple matter of not implementing screen clears properly. Screen clears fine, cursor homes fine, screen looks great, but when you reach the end of the screen you end up with output from long ago showing up under current output.

I have Swath added to my test cycle so I'll make sure I keep it working right, and hopefully add better support for Putty in the process. I'll try to have this fixed by later tonight. Time to go out with the family!

Credit Micro for solid intuition on how to fix this problem. For whatever reason, reversing the order and clearing first, then homing the cursor seems to work. I was thinking that the clear would clear after the cursor, but as Micro pointed out, it's the whole screen, so switching the order works fine. So let's go with that and see if we have any other issues showing up.

Have you updated the fix yet? Nothing's changed.

We don't mind if you take it down turning prime playing time to fix it. :D

Little curious as well... Buydown from the bot's aren't working now... started last night. Myself and a corpie were both stuck on the port prompt. I was using Zoc and it would also say swath auto haggle detected.... It's this a new feature for the twgs to make bot's not playable anymore :)

Haven't had a chance to post it yet. Spending time with the family. I'll try to get it up there tonight.

Ok, posted the fix. That should clear up the swath issue.

I need to know more about the port script issue. I had a report about something similar related to rob/steal and I had to clean up the output there to keep it consistent with previous versions. This could be related, so give me a cap showing the prompts involved.

You need to turn haggle off in Swath if you're using another script to buy-down.

Display was working fine for me in Swath as long as I didn't log out of the game and log back in without disconnecting from Swath. So you did something right... now if I happen to log out of just the game and then right back into it, then I would encounter the overlap of text again like before but I'd be ok with that fix versus the previous problem where it happened in the middle of the game if i hit the V command that resets the screen.

Ahh, that's because I forgot to make the same change in TWGS. I'll do that.

I'm not using swath :P It was still on Zoc, but it's figured out now :) Thank you!

Yeah, that is annoying, you have Swath open to toggle to for the maps etc, then you go to Zoc to run your scripts, both Swath & Zoc are connected to TWGS, so I'm guessing this is why this happens. Swath "sees" a trade happening, even though you didn't use Swath to start the trade but still wants to apply the haggle settings you've left it set to.

Since the Swath display is brighter, and you can adjust the font larger (for us old folks) :) I'll run the zoc or twx scripts, but watch it in Swath.
