This new category of settings is continuing to grow, so I'm creating a new editor for it. From the TEDIT main menu, there will be a <R> Report Manager option. Within this editor, there are currently these options, though more may be added as we continue to refine this effort to control data mining. High Score Mode - When to update the high score list (on demand, hourly, half-day, at extern) High Score Type - What kind of list to show. Either by value or by title Rankings Mode - When to update the rankings report (on demand, hourly, half-day, at extern) Rankings Type - What kind of list to show. Either choose between value and title (normal behavior) or by title only. Entry Log Blackout - How much of the entry log display to black out. Options are none, minute, hour, or no log. Game Log Blackout - How much of the in-game log display to black out. Options are none, minute, hour, or no log. Port Report Delay - How frequently should port reports be updated. Can set any number of minutes from 1 minute to a day. 0 means realtime updates. There is also a new section in the * settings dump called "reports", and all of these settings have been moved there. I have also added a new sub-section for the startup menu S screen to show these settings. This gives us room to grow as more report management options are added. I will be posting this on the beta site for testing soon. Please use the sandbox game to explore various options and make sure they're working as intended. |
