Forum rules

This is not an area to debate the pros and cons of proposed features. It is an area for people to suggest new features for either TW or TWGS. I will either add the proposed feature to my planned features list, or explain my reasons for passing on the feature at this time. Features added to the list can be voted on so I can gauge people's interest.

I would like the Photon Wave effect to simply be changed to "no action requiring turns" and have a timer for up to 1440 seconds.

Or something else that's even cooler.*

*Edit: no turn regen for x hours (up to 255.)

Photons are already far to powerful in limited turn games.

In a turn game, if you get shot on day 1, with close to full turns, it sets you back massively. Or if you get shot with 1 turn, it's kind of pointless.

In a unlimited game you have to sit out for a minute or two. The effects seem to disproportionate to me.

Me personally I'd like photons to take X turns in limited turn games or even a percentage of turns per day.
i.e. 1-100%.

i.e. the game has 1000 turns/day, photons are set to 10%, you get shot you loose 100 turns. You can't go negative. The risk/reward of doing dangerous tasks then becomes a bit more balanced.

However.. I can live with what they do now because I tend to take a lot more peoples turns than they take mine :)

This seems pointless... since... well... you already know...
also, per forum rules, I am not debating the feature, but suggesting two additional features.

Anyway I like Hammer's idea for turns games. In unlimited games, the gameop should be able to set the duration the players is disabled (in seconds).

Death delay in an unlimited needs to be adjusted as well. If you get knocked out for up to 24 hours, it is pretty much over.
