Forum rules
1. Each thread must begin with the Tournament Name, date expected to open, host server information, and rules if this information is available.
2. After the tournament officially opens, we will then open the thread to general discussion of the tournament.
3. There will be one thread here per tournament.
4. Members not in the game are allowed to comment on the game, however if this results in arguments that get personal the member NOT playing will be banned from the thread. This can be a temporary or permanent ban.
5. Posts viewed by the admin/moderators of this site as being out of line with the intent of this thread, can be moved or deleted at the moderators discretion.
6. Continued violations of the rules of this thread can result in the temporary or in extreme cases a permanent ban from this thread.

Re: August Monthly Challenge I wasn't trying to set it up on a server or change the time limit. I was just asking why we are playing a stupid time limit game in general? I don't like time limits. TV

Re: August Monthly Challenge This is just a different type of Challenge game. It's up to each host to select an edit.
The Call To Battle edit is a Time Limit game. That I did not change. The only thing I changed was the size of the universe and the number of turns and size of corps to fit the challenge game criteria. Re: August Monthly Challenge You "Can" bang your twa but,since you had it on a V2 server it doesnt bang fully and corrent. You obviously don't know. The ships don't show up in dock, and you cant even start a bot in the game cause it cant run through the ship info's. I have experienced this before. Not the first time I tried to rebang games imported from a v2 server to a v1 server. I invite you to try it and see how messed up the games result. TV

So I guess any issues related to time limit games in v2 are features instead of bugs. Evidently it was the way J.P. intended the game to be played. |
