I have also speculated on ending the tournament 4 weeks later on the 22nd at 00:00, or the 12:00 between the 21st and 22nd. Any way you could start it at midnight 24 hours later (Friday night)? I, for one, will be spending time with family at that time on the 23rd and will not be able to join, which probably means I won't be playing since I would be joining too late. I suspect at least some others will be in the same situation. I was actually thinking Friday, 23rd November, at 9:00pm EST. I would hope by this time everybody would be finished with festivities, and will finally be able to drag themselves off the couch. The game will run for exactly 28 days, and finish at 9:00pm EST on Friday, 21st December. I'm on board with this.

Re: A Subzero Christmas Tournament
Due to the possibility of a stalemate at the expiration of this tournament, I have effectuated the following points system.
Gridded Sector 1 Point Each
Most Sectors Gridded 1,000 Points
Percent of Colonist (please note that this will be calculated on the rounded up/down number that TWGS provides. I will not be adding up all the colonist, on all the planets) 100 Points Per Percentage Point
Most Colonist 1,000 Points
Deaths Left 1,000 Points Each
Percent of Credits in Citadel (Credits on Players will not count) (again calculated on the TWGS rounding system) 100 Points Per Percentage Point
Most Credits 1,000 points
Percent of Figs (Please note that figs in empty ships will not count) 100 Points Per Percentage Point
Most Figs 1,000 Points
I believe this system to be fair, and will categorically, and quantifiably, produce a clear winner. If anybody has any issues or suggestions, please contact the undersigned at your earliest possible convenience.
One last thing. I would like to hear your opinions on another idea I was considering incorporating into this tournament, or, if this tournament is successful, future tournaments. I was thinking about including a a Golden Snitch into the game. For those of you unfamiliar with Harry Potter, the Golden Snitch is a small ball used in the wizarding game, quidditch. It is worth the most points, and signifies the end of the game. Although, in this format, it would not end the game, it could certainly have an impact. I was thinking about making the Golden Snitch planet worth 20,000 points. Here’s the catch. The planet would have a minimum of 1,000,000 figs, 1,000,000 fuel, full shields, and pack a bit of a cannon blast. The location of the planet would be announced prior to the start of the tournament to ensure a level playing field. Most significantly, the planet will not be mobile. In order to receive the 20,000 points, a corp must own the planet, and the planet must be intact, at the conclusion of the tournament. I’m not sure what kind of impact, if any, this would have. Please let me know your thoughts.

A Subzero Christmas Tournament
FYI: the TWA posted earlier is inaccurate. I forgot to change all the alien ships to general deployment. I will endeavor to have an updated TWA file uploaded by the close of play today. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Was wondering if the posted TWA is the final; if not, would you be able to post the proper TWA sooner than later. Considering, time is fast approaching, and some of us don't have much time for practice. Please consider turning Sub-Prompts on; would be much appreciated. Thanks
