We bring you the BIG GAME. This is two team draft game. Each team will have one team captain and one vice captain. The rest of the players will randomly selected by a online random team maker. Sign up ends on Friday 7/28 at 9pm ET. Teams will be posted here shortly after. Captains will be aloud to trade one player if they wish and can agree. but they do not have to use it. Final teams will be even.

There will also be a points system posted in the invent the game goes the full 30 days. Game End's Sunday Sept. 15th 9pm ET

The Teams:
Hammer's Team: Vice Captain: Mind Dagger.
Shadow's Team: Vice Captain: Rider.

Game Rules & Points System.

1. Duplicate Accounts

Duplicate accounts will not be tolerated. Any corporation using dupes is in violation of this rule, even if the dupe is not a member of the corp.

Duplicate accounts are primarily determined by IP address. One player per IP address.

I will be using other methods to detect dupes, including proxy detection. Be careful what kind of proxy service you use to play with as well. if two players Have the same IP for any reason Both will be banned. No exceptions or excuses will be accepted.

Yes Proxy's, VPS, and VPN's are a loud, but do not take advantage of this by trying to host with the same company I use. ANY player Caught with using the same host will be banned from the game without warning.

At no time is a player allowed to log into another players account.
You may not use Telnet Proxy, Remote Desktop, or any other means to remotely control another players account.(cannot be enforced so you are all on your honor here)


2. Player Conduct

Be Respectful on FED/PM/SS. While I don't expect you to be priests &
nuns I do expect you to be grown ups. Anything I deem offensive will
result in a censor/warning and then A ban. I am generally pretty lenient on this but common Sense should tell you
what not to say.

3. Buyouts of any kind are not permitted. This includes both Ships and Planets.

4. No Bug use of any kind. If you are not sure then ask.



Points System:

Using my standard Points system if the game goes the full 30 days, This will be the tie breaker.

Points System

25 points for the corp with the largest grid.
25 points for the corp with the most fighters.
25 points for the corp with the most colonists.
15 points for the corp with the most cash in cits
15 bonus points for each shielded planet that was created by another corporation, and owned by your corporation at the end of the game. Logs must show a planet capture.(subject to my review. If anything doesn't look right, IE upgrading an empty planet then capping it, I will disallow the points)

In the invent of a tie on points the tied corp with the most Tri-Con Jackpots wins(Just Kidding BH)

(which cannot happen with only 2 corps but just in case i figured wrong)

Sorry confusion is my fault, I skim read the original post from 2016 and thought it was a random draft. However it was random captains and then a draft where we pick. It's not a good trait being a lazy reader playing a text based game!

However I'm happy to go with whatever. Shadow and I have both spoken and we'd at least like to pick one player each if possible? It's helpful to have a Vice-Captain you play with regularly.

There is some discussion about universe size also, being 30k, no big bubbles and whether we'll get a satisfactory conclusion in 30 days. It's entirely possible we will depending how the early stages go. However it's also likely it'll be very hard to find people with high turn ships, slow planets etc.

I'm ok to review size to 20k if that's ok with host/other team. Once again I'm not to stressed either way; if it goes 30 days then we have 'rules' to determine winner.

I think a total random draft would have been way more interesting. So people who normally dont get to play with each other get the chance to do so, but we can change to a Regular BYOC/draft game like we always do. Ill make the change.

Well if its going to be on my V1(and prob. will be since I now have no interest in playing this type of game. so I dont have to find another host so I can play) It will be a max of 20,000 sectors. I will write up and post rules/points system as I always do before game start...

Hey SK, just a discussion mate, I'm more than happy to keep as is.. as I said :)

And I only bought it up from my mistake and other people telling me I got it wrong.

I appreciate the time you've taken to set it up!!

We also agreed Shadow would take Farley if he plays.

Okay now im confused. The way I read your post is that you wanted to change it to our standard BYOC/draft game. and talking to shadow on icq stating he didn't want a total draft.. SO, Read that is you both wanted to change it. I started this Post because you both told you where good with the format and wanted to see if people are interested and people have signed up. so now I don't know what we are doing...
