Limpets... they do more than tracking =). Also can be detected if you try to
drop limpets and it says "These mines are not under your control" or something
similar. Works great w/ planets since moving in w/ one doesn't trigger limpets.

LOL - Laughing out loud.

That is a good tactic, but would only work if the player or Corp is offline at the time, though right? As, Limpets can't be Photoned past. Of, course they would be alerted, if they read their logs.

It happens in the course of normal gridding where a corp drops more than 1 limp per
sector that you often put your fig over their limpet. Later if you bring a planet to
that sector you will run into the msg "These mines are not under your control" and
you'll need to clear them out. You don't activate a limpet just by pwarping on top of
it, you have to trigger a sector-entry which happens under different conditions.

Invasion
entering without photon
1 - check for hazz. the damage isn't automatic unless there is 100% hazz. this is important to remember.

killcount. it only matters in games where it's a sysop specified victory condition. having the most kills doesn't make you the game winner. (it sure helps tho [:D])

for what it's worth re: Limpets, when you have a sector with Limpets, mines and figs, when an enemy enters that sector, you see the limpet activated message before you see any other messages.

Anyone ever worked out exactly how much sooner those messages come?
