Mobil
This refers to a Level-5 or higher planet, which is capable of P-Warping to different sectors.

I believe it is a level 4 Citadel that is transwarp, level 5 is shields and Level 6 is IG

Yes, lv4 is mobile. lv5 shielded. lv6 IG. Rexx, you're a dear... but you really
ought to play the game a bit more ;).

Rexx, Re: Mafia
You can say mafia to the grimy trader in the Tavern and he'll give you the password to the underground.
If you ask him about a specific trader, he will give you a list of ports. These ports are the ones that the ship the trader is currently in has ported at. So if he is sleeping in a ship that has never ported, you'll get nothing. Hope this helps!!

Ok thank ya, I changed it around a little bit, not sure on a few things now...

Is the information blocked if Fighters are deployed?
If the ship used to Port is sold, destroyed, or Capped is the information given the same as if the ship is left unmanned?

It'll give any trader currently in a ship with that name. So... if everyone has the
same name, you'll get wonky results. If the ship is capped, bad results too. If the
ship is destroyed or sold, no results. and yes, figs block it.

you still spelled manual wrong. [:D]

heh. I'm not even sure how to respond to that one.

As to Grimy, you could write a whole article on just him.
Oh, wait...someone did.

heh. Not me tho. Sometimes I miss Lisa.

For what it's worth, I've never caught anyone with the bribe feature that I couldn't have caught by hand, i.e. noobs. So it's a waste of $$ in my opinion. Cause anyone I can't catch by hand, I'm sure as heck not gonna catch with grimy.

If you're at keys around the same time someone is setting up for an SDT you'll find
that, occasionally, you do find SDT areas w/ grimy hunting if they forget to fig
their off-robs or emergency fuel ports. You can also find someone doing PPT this way
if they forget to fig their ports. Combine w/ early game probing and a little CIM
hunting and you can turn up quite a bit.

forgetting to fig = noob.

Unless you think someone has already probed that area, then figging it is a dead
give-away. There are reasons not to fig specific areas (like not leaving a chain
to your TA, lol), on top of that... with all of the chaos of the first few days
any big corp is likely to make a mistake or 2, and that's definately an easy one
to make.

I tested the Underground to make sure if the info was correct or not and here is what I found out:

1. The Underground is outside on the dock, not in the Tavern. (Don't ask! [:I])
2. In the underground you can also change your name for: 7 Credits * per point of Experience + 100.
3. Anybody that has a 199 or lower alignment is permitted into the Underground, so long as they have the password.
4. In the Underground you are just a "scum", no-matter who ya’rrrr!. [:o)].

I had meant to get back to this one, but forgot it. Work and all.. heh
quote:Mafia
For a fee this group located in the Lost Trader's Tavern "Underground" area, allows Reds to track other players according to the Ports that they docked at, while using their currently manned ship. The accuracy of this information depends upon the status of the players ship that was used to Port and if the Ports they have been docking at, has or had their own personal or corporate fighters posted within the sector of those Ports, at the time of the inquiry. For more information as the Grimy Trader about this group of outlawed misfits. Also referred to as the: Underground.

Um...no.
When you are in the tavern, and you talk to the grimy trader, you can ask about "underground" or "mafia" to get the password. Tracking player portings is another function of the grimy trader, and it has nothing to do with the underground. You implied that only reds could use the grimy trader to track people, and that's not true at all.

Some constructive criticism? I really think you should play the game a bit more.

FYI, the underground password always starts as "BEWARE OF KAL DURAK" and 1 failed
attempt won't hurt you.
