Can anybody explain what Am Track is and how it works?

When ppl run amtrack scripts, they putting sector figs all around major space lanes. Major space lanes (MSLs) go between terra, sd, and the other two class0's... If you have all sectors around the MSLs figged, and extern makes people sitting at stardock fly out into space, they'll only fly into a spacelane cause everywhere else is blocked. Then, all you have to do to find people is check the MSLs.

The MSLs are 1 <-> SD, SD <-> AC, SD <-> rylos, and rylos <-> AC.

... 1 <-> AC, 1 <-> Ry aren't MSL?? huh.. i did not know that. is there a reason why they aren't? i would say because it doesn't goto the SD, but AC <-> Ry is a MSL so there goes that theory.. K3? appease my curiousity.

It's that way because that's how it was coded. Darned if I know the logic behind it.

And the amtrack worked very nicely yesterday morning. Extern was at 4:00 AM:

Yeah, I know -- I was slow in capping the ship, but at 4 AM the other players were AFK and that ship wasn't going anywhere.

Didn't 1 <-> AC and 1 <->Rylos USED to be MSL's? At least they were in some versions I've played in the past. (or that was what I was always told, maybe they was wrong all along).

I would guess in all versions of TWGS it's been as I described. It has been for the past 4 years at least. I don't see any reason that JP would have changed what was a MSL.
