Orion Blastar is a name I made up for a Pirate character of mine I used in Traveller. I wanted something original and I liked the constilation Orion. I spelled the last name that way to make it original, it is intended to be spelled wrong. I just say it means Mighty Warrior in Vilani.
Traveller is a science fiction role playing game based in the Far Future. Details can be found here http://www.farfuture.net/
Our Traveller group still gets together once in a while, but since we are all adults now we have schedule conflicts.

Severian comes from a Saint (No I am not comparing myself to a saint, just liked the name...) FYI He was an Armenian Martyred by having his flesh torn from his body by iron rakes under Emperor Licinius Licinianus in circa 320 A.D. for proclaiming openly his Christian faith.[V]

Oh, all right.. I'll participate.. heh
Wotok comes from the big, slow and ugly bad guy in the computer game 'Overlord' (circa 1991, Probe Software Ltd). My original BBS handle in Japan was Overlord, but when I got back to the states, I found that Overlord was Overused, so I had to find something unique.

Entropy means:
Inevitable and steady deterioration of a system or society. Basically it describes the process of how an orderly society slowly and inevitebly deteriorates into eventual chaos...Kinda like we are experiencing now...
You could say George W. Bush = Entropy
Heh..heh...heh

Entropy is a scientific term that refers to the tendency for all matter and energy in the universe to move towards a less ordered sytem. For example, it's easy to mess up a room, but hard to clean it up. You can knock over a stack of paper with ease, but you can't just as easily put them back in the same order and as neatly. Society does seem to be influenced by this same principal, but I can hardly place the blame on any one person. [:D]

entropy
SYLLABICATION: en·tro·py
PRONUNCIATION: AUDIO: ntr-p KEY
NOUN: Inflected forms: pl. en·tro·pies
1. Symbol S For a closed thermodynamic system, a quantitative measure
of the amount of thermal energy not available to do work.
2. A measure of the disorder or randomness in a closed system.
3. A measure of the loss of information in a transmitted message.
4. The tendency for all matter and energy in the universe to evolve
toward a state of inert uniformity.
5. Inevitable and steady deterioration of a society.
There are several definitions...I chose it because of #5
And the George W. Bush commend was dripping with sarcasm if you didnt pick up on it...And I don't only blame him...The republican controlled house and senate are equally to blame...heh...heh...heh
(ABOVE STATEMENT DRIPPING WITH SARCASM) lol
Entropy
P.S. Entropy was the name of the ultimate evil bad guy in the Gord the Rogue(D&D) books I use to read ages ago...

Is all good. I just hate politics. While I tend to lean conservative, I can't bring myself to REALLY trust ANY politician. [xx(]

The name I use now is romper, which is a nickname some people called me in college. I went by Romp (my last name) since where I lived there were six guys named Chris.
When I first started playing BBS doors in the late 80's I went by Nero, the former Emperor of Rome (the old saying: "Nero fiddled while Rome burned.")... which also happens to be where the CD-ROM burning software got their name (I had it first!). Cute play on words, however. Nero Burning ROM(e).

Well, when i first started playing I was unsure of a handle. I decided to name myself after my favourite band. I noticed that there was already a zeppelin. So I chose Zoso whichs is the name of the Untitled 4th album. There is no clear defintion of the word itself. Jimmy Page created it and there are many rumors to the nature of the word, however none where ever confirmed.
I also play under the handle Deimos, which translated into english means terror. I came across this one researching the meaning of Loki.
I guess a thank you is in order [:D]. Thanx Loki

My avatar is a character from DBZ named Taipon. Trunks got a sword from him. I use him because he looks fierce and sorta like an elf, which Rofellos is. DBZ is crazy cool. My favorite is the Boo saga. [:D]
SWEET! I'm not a newbie anymore.[}:)]

Well my name is pretty simple I guess...KingD refers to King David in the bible (and no I'm not overly religious). My first name is David...I didn't want to use any of the names that I used years ago when I used to play the game, a few were (Sagitarian, Lord Scaliwag..still going to use this one in games, Skywalker) just a few. I'm playing one game now, and I'm under the name "Ryan's Revenge"...my sons name is Ryan, so the game is kinda dedicated to him. In fact he was really getting into watching me play the game the other day, so I let him field a few hundred turns. He's only 11 so I don't think he would last long by himself...yet! Plus I go by KingD or KingDavid on a few forums for other games.
