Well this server has rules like No blockading stardock, and people don't usually play super aggressive like leaving defensive fighters everywhere... they kinda let the newbies come in and get a foothold going... then they attack.. lol

I think vader and corp got asked to leave because they left defensive fighters around the SD and fedspace...

oh, well the puts me out. I've been kicked off of servers like that.

ya, but a "new player" up for the TW awards will still know that good gridding wins games. I've tried to play a few newb games since, but really, I can't get around without twarp, it just wastes to many turns and running a game that frowns on gridding, is like putting up a big sign that says "Newbs only". I dont think you're going to find many "experts" here that are going to want to play a game like that. But that's just my 2 cents.

my strategy would be to get ahold of the Op and have a conversation with him/her as to why laying figs around is advatageous for many reasons other than just the "super pdrop/photon scripts" that i would guess he feels "wrecks the game/take no skill/etc..."

I think you misunderstood me. Stardock/fedspace blockaids are a nono... leaving defensive fighters around is ok. I was just saying that the players are not as aggresive about leaving defensive fighters all over the place like in some games. If you want to check the game settings out, the rules are specifically stated on the site. Game B on 216.104.67.240. I'm really just looking for someone who can play 1500 turns a day or so... we had 2 other players just kinda quite because they had other things to do.. i'm sure your all welcome to come play... this game is going to be running for a long time...
