It seems that after a server restart, I will have up to 20 or more "nodes" trying to connect.

After about 10 seconds, the "normal" players are connected and the rest of the nodes disconnect.

Why does this happen?

Also, is there a way to send in-game messages other than to send a shutdown message, then abort?

The connect thing is the players trying to reconnect but twx disconnects and tries again in 3 seconds watch the ips
