Forum rules


This is not an area to debate the pros and cons of proposed features. It is an area for people to suggest new features for either TW or TWGS. I will either add the proposed feature to my planned features list, or explain my reasons for passing on the feature at this time. Features added to the list can be voted on so I can gauge people's interest.

I think this has been mentioned before. We have an option to schedule a game to open at a specific time, but there are some settings that should also be set when the game opens.

The first thing that comes to mind is colonist on Terra.

What else needs to be set?

I had a script that would shutdown the game, rebang it, set it up will all the options you wanted and opened at a set time. Not hard to write ;)

Another nice feature would be config game setting for SD, as to its location, e.g., random, sector 10, or random 2-way adjacent to FedSpace. And to config SD port, e.g., SBB and amounts.

As a side note, it would be interesting to add a setting for an outpost, sort of a mini-SD that could be enabled/disabled; placing it in a random sector at least x-hops away from all Class-0 ports and FedSpace, and not part of the MSL. Proving another ship yard, emporium, and maybe a black-market type feature.
