Re: Haunted Holloween 2016
Congrats on the win. Well played game. As mentioned by many people, toss this edit back into the past and leave it there. All jokes aside it was a very challenging edit and it tested the TW knowledge
On a side note: A public apology to C3. While there were talks of a mega corp, C1 decided against the mega corp but were ok with a non-aggression pack (unless a red/non-fed safe was out in the open). C3 and I had this talk over a month before the tournament and I never got back to you on the final decision.
My pdrop script hit one of their players who mis-keyed something and hung on our fighters and ended up SD. At that point we ran across their sst area and took it out as it was in the open.

Mind Dagger was set to make his public return to this game but a family emergency kept him away. A huge thanks to Frenzy for filling in and we look forward to MD's return at a later time.

Re: Haunted Holloween 2016
Great win for Camelot. A very complicated edit that should probably never be attempted again, heh.
...Sorry C3 had to drop out. Seems only one corp was prepared for the destruction of SD.
I very much enjoyed my corp. A group of extraordinarily talented tw-warriors!
And a special congratulations to Xanos, who devised highly creative (scripting) solutions to counter the intricacies of this strange edit.

GG corp 2 Probably because we never found your base and you did find ours, that's why we kept figs in door. But yeah, we were trying very hard to get to 50% grid and hold it. You never let us get there. I think we ended with 44% grid. GG all.. and yes Please put this edit deep in the vault. I don't think we ever want to play this one again. (Thanks SK!) hehe...

Re: Haunted Holloween 2016
No comment. This games ended as I had decided I wanted it to. I don't take well to people destroying a game. Then the communication was terrible to say the least. I'll think this through very carefully as usual.
In my opinion the game was playable or we wouldn't have been there at all. After stating that there's not much else to say.

sk I hate to say it, but I think we owe that in part to TWGS v1.x I know there were invasion attempts... but I didn't hear about anyone getting kicked out of the game during the invasion... as for the edit... it is burned beyond recognition and can't be recovered

V1 might be the way to go for these high load games. At least for now. sk

It's worth considering.. What do we miss with v2? I would miss planet numbers in the TL List haha, not knowing the planet number when I need to quickly land to avoid a photon is a pain. The knocking players out on MXEX when you have 5-6 at a time is almost guaranteed to occur in v2 I can't recall any weird settings from last year that would need to be changed. It's not like Micro working his magic like he did on the Big Game which I actually liked. Micro: Thanks for hosting! Zipp: Apologies if you think we (or I) broke a truce/acted poorly? We as a team didn't speak for a few weeks before the game and most arrived late to actually play. To be honest last I heard we had changed our mind on Mega corping but apparently we hadn't told you that. We were just super disorganized leading up to the game and the first week. No apologies on blowing the dock tho, if it's in the rules and someone else could have done it, we had to do it. If we were organised it would have been gone within days. Left it a bit late so couldn't really capitalize enough. Anyway, bring on ICE and ships with holds!!!!
