This is happening for me too today
They're working on the swath.net servers currently
You can still make connections to telnet servers if you force your computer to NOT resolve
www.swath.net or swath.net - this will make the primary server connection fail, and the secondary server will authenticate your license and you'll be good to go
You will still be in evaluation mode though, until they get the swath.net servers back online to validate actual license information
If you make this change, dont forget to undo the change whenever the primary servers look like they're back online
To force this on your machine, in windows you would do:
start > notepad (right-click, run as administrator)
then in notepad, file > open >
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\HOSTS
(with no extension)
edit that file in notepad and add these:
0.0.0.0 swath.net
0.0.0.0
www.swath.netsave it as HOSTS (with no extension, not hosts.txt)
then swath basically works fine.
to undo, just delete those lines the same way you added them
