Has anyone seen this?
EAccessviolation in module twproxy 2.05exe at 000C6F30. Access violation at address 004C6F30 in module 'twproxy2.05exe' Read address 000BABE.

Twx closes as soon as I get this message. It's making me nuttier. If you can shed any light on this please do.

If you search the forums for ‘BABE’ you’ll see a few posts.

Iirc the BABE Error (a practice joke by E.P.??), has to do with loading a script via the File-dialog in TWX. Only solution was to stop doing that. Laff.

I don't see any reference to that error in the current codebase, so I am guessing EP fixed it in his last build.

Give my latest build a try:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/hsznyxpsatyi ... FpXwYOoGJa

I'm calling it 2.06 to differentiate it from EP's 2.05 build.

I completely re-vamped the Telnet routines, so you should get a stable reconnect even if you are running the public/unpatched version of Mombot. StarKiller and I ran this build for the full duration of HHT without any problems.

This is not a full release, so you will need to drop this into your existing TWXPROXY folder. Delete TWXSetup.dat and your data folder.

The source for this build is on Github:

You guys are great, thanks. Anything and everything seemed to trigger it. I have downloaded the latest build and am testing it now.

I lost most of my scripts and data during my last DELL XPS crash, so I'm not positive that I was using the correct version of TWX . I'll know more by the end of the day.

I really didn't think I'd even get a response to this message so you guys surprised me. Thanks again

Ouch... This may help, it is Helix's Easy Setup:

I think it has most of the script packs that were released to the public in it.

...and here is EP's latest full release, in case anyone needs it:
