Double or triple (or more) damage of normal armids (configurable in tedit) should apply. I'm not sure if using a simple timer (configurable in tedit) or using movement to somehow trigger the explosion would be better...?
Using movement to trigger the explosion would allow clever players a chance to defeat explosive limpets (transport to another ship and tow to Stardock.) A timer (configurable in tedit) would tend to limit a player's options somewhat.
Oh, and can we get 100% for anomalous aliens? And re-activate the "heir to the throne" bug (configurable by turning on or off in tedit?)
