Study: Games are depressing...or are they?
"The average gamer is 35, overweight, and more likely to be depressed, says a new study conducted by researchers at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention." re
http://videogames.yahoo.com/events/plug ... y-/1346074I don't know the average age of our population (gamers/non-gamers) as a whole, but it seems like the average person is now overweight (esp if you use insurance tables), and the current economic/political situation would appear to leave a lot of people depressed. We see studies conducted that seem to verify amazingly different points of view on the same subject.
Anyway, so you do not become the "average gamer", get off your butt and exercise more than your fingers and brains. lol, no I am not the "average gamer" as I am much older than that, not depressed except for when I think of the situation we are leaving our children and grandchildren with the country's debt load, but I am currently about 10 lbs over my weight from the FD days when I biked approx 30 miles a day 3-4 days a week (fight a fire w/o being in shape - not good).
