Wow

I dont like that list, how can WoW possibly be #1, and a game like this one, that has shown it's staying power be #10?

They really did miss some great titles, and never mentioned a single adventure game in the whole list.

Who's the idiot who mentioned doom, and not wolfenstein?

I saw this a while back... but it is pretty cool.

when the list is only 10 deep, to make it is good. considering how these lists usually run, i am deeply saddened and hurt to not see x-com ufo defense make the list. other microprose titles get in but not the best? <sigh> my fave is slipping...

and how can you put a title like starcraft on there(I love that game) without putting the father of all rts games on there: Dune 2.

I think they numbered the list backwards. Besides, they obviously forgot the absolute greatest game, the one that preceeded them all: PONG

it seems that the titles which revolutionized systems were not picked, instead the games which capitalized on the 'formula to success' made it.... with the exception of tradewars, which has spawned lots of imitators... at least they got that right

It's just some list that someone made up because they were games he/she thought were particularly cool.

There's no science to it, and I'm sure there were no formal parameters established for the list. There's a
million top 10 lists out there. I, for one, am just glad we got remembered. Maybe the publicity will bring
in an extra player or two.

i get doom, tradewars, but sims? WOW over EQ1? (keep in mind it was WAY better and you had to use your brain) hmm.....I can also think of a million strategy games that should be someplace on the list. FPSs? Come on no Half-life or CS?
