I'm so tired that after spending about a million credits trying to get an Oceanic, I ZDY'd it.

Who needs an entire script? A simple ZDY marco will do the trick

How many planets are you starting with?

Try overloading by one, or does that only work in Sub-Zero?

Judging by the TW Cabal page and JP's own words on the subject, the best way to get the more desirable planets is to start with an empty sector and ZDY each planet before shooting off another. The more planets there are in a sector, the higher your chance of getting a worthless one.

JP mentioned a "window" where Gold planets after the stock ones become very common for a while before class U completely dominates. So if there are desirable planets in that range, then what you're suggesting would work. But not in a stock game.

Correct, if you overload sector +1 it increases your chances of getting gold planets, not stock ones. Other than that it is just bust bust bust.... Lonestar has a script for building planets. There are others but his seems to be the most popular.

That may be true, I haven't tested it. My recollection of the old game, MBBS, was to start with max planets in the sector first, then ZDY the ones you don't want. I still create planets this way.
