Here's what I've been up to lately:



Ironically, I have more energy for personal projects now than I did when I was working full time. Fixing other people's horrible software all day leaves you with no code juice in your brain. But after a couple years in the trenches, I'm a much better programmer. And I'm finally getting back to TradeWars stuff!

Some players have been upset with the direction and pace of development for a long time, and even I'm starting to wonder where JP has gone. Has anyone heard a peep from him in the last two years? How many players would be interested in collaborating on something constructive instead of just complaining all the time? I mean something like cloning TW or even designing a whole new game around the modern realities of script wars.

I dunno, looks like you've got your hands full there. Such a cutie!

I'd be interested. It sounds a bit like one of those side projects that's just a bit too ambitious and might run out of steam in 2-3 months time - but it sounds fun and I have some thoughts on it.
