Post subject:  Old TW player looking to play again.
Hello fellow TW players. My name is Ray, Im a very old TW player lookin to try out Tradewars again. By very old I mean from back in the Dial-up Online BBS days. :) Pry 15+ years ago.. lol And i dont even know where to begin to get back into it or how its played.. May even be an adroid version of it now (Wishing.. Cause that'd be sweet) Looking through the posts i see a few names i remember... Cruncher Mainly :) Hiya Cruncher!!

Anyways so yeah... lookin to try to play again.. Can anyone guide me in the right direction? Good servers.. Helpers, Programs, Proxys, scripts. Yall still use that stuff? I always thought it would be nice to play a game that uses no added help personally.. Guess maybe low-turn games would be advised for that? Also no weird wicked mods i remember seeing as i ended my TW career back in the day. But then again maybe i would like the changes that have been made over the years.. I donno :)

Any information would be great!!

May Start Date: May 3rd
Corp Size: 4-8
Game Length: 30 days
Winning conditions: Winner take all or its a stalemate

If you want to play come in, sit, private message Helix or Micro, we will get you in the corp, and get you to dock. The edit has new player planets so its not safe to move around.

I remember that picture... God it was so long ago!!.. I was pry 17-19 years old... Im 33 now :(. Helix... sounds like a good game... Nice size.. decent turns... but youd have to escort me to SD. means there is allot i dont know or have forgoten. Be willing to teach me and id be game

While that tournament is closed to new players, I do have the B.O.T.E. 2013 edit up on my server for everyone interested in checking it out can.

Now that the May Challenge game is over for us, I'll be studying the edit this weekend. When players are ready, restart it so everyone can practice playing against each other at the same start time.

I dont know that im ready for any tournament just yet. But Cruncher as you know i was VERY competitive back in the day. Still find it funny ya can google "Eyrcs bote" and find the 2001 Bote tourney. :) When does BOTE start btw?

July 12th. I believe. If you're around this weekend, I'm hosting BOTE bootcamp on my server. Helping players get TWX and Mombot working.

July 12th for B.O.T.E. but we still have another monthly running in June to help fine tune your play. Come join us.
