Just decided to check in here once again. It appears I've not really been active here since 2012 but it doesn't seem that long. I see some names I remember, and many I don't. Glad to see the game is still being played. Almost wish I could resurrect my server. Almost.... |

While I enjoyed hosting back in the day, I'm afraid the temperament of the game has become far to argumentative. I was so frustrated after the last tournament I hosted I literally threw the whole server in the trash,.. yep it's gone lol. Yes I still have my backup files and edits etc. But I don't know that I'll ever host again. For one, right now I don't have internet at all. I'm posting via a hotspot! That would be a requirement and where I'm at about the only service I can get is satellite which wouldn't be good for hosting either. I was always proud of my fast ping times. Afraid that wouldn't be the case now. Maybe someday. |

Lol I always got along with you. Catch was not all appreciated my style of hosting. General games went well but tournaments I don’t think I was viewed well. I either didn’t understand the script, the edit, the tradition, or I simply wasn’t doing it right. I tried anyway. |

If you did want to come back, Hosted VPS seems like the best way to go. There are some pretty cheap ones that work well. Anyway, I understand you not wanting to get involved in all the drama! |
