OK, I'm about to set up a nice little mega operation and I was wondering.....
I know that when I sell the equipment I want to sell it to the port that pays the most on the base price. But when I'm buying it, do I want to buy for the highest base price to save on turns offloading because I make more money on the actual mega-rob itself?

You want to pick ports that charge the most for equip so that you can put enough cash on the port to rob it with only buying equip. You don't actually make money mega-robbing, you only get back what you spent on the equipment. The goal is to only have to buy equip, since it will pay you the best price/turn when you sell it off.

so your best bet is to use worst price haggle. this will put more cash on the port per turns.
