what happens when xporting into another one of your ships?

I left a ship in open space and the Ferrengi conveniently put 50k figs in the sector on OFFENSIVE. if I xport into it, will I get podded?

I dont think so severian, I'm pretty sure that he's fine. You can xport into that ship and warp out.
xporting doesn't trigger navhaz, not sure why it would trigger figs...

Last time i gave advice, I was completely wrong, so i've been hestitant too since. But, yes, if you xport in you will be fine and can leave without a problem. Unless of course there is a planet there with an active IG and then if sector cannons are set you will get hit by the cannon, but you still will not be hit be the figs I believe. If you transport in, exit game, then reenter you will hit figs. If you physically leave sector with the ship, and come back to sector, you will hit the figs. If you warp a planet in, and someone replaces the fig after your there(or replaces it while your not there and you hold a "lock"), you can lift and not hit the figs, but if you were to exit in the citadel and then reenter the game in the citadel, if you lift you will hit the figs. You can photon into a sector and not hit figs, in fact you can photon into the sector, exit the game, and reenter during the photon wave and not hit figs either. I think that covers a lot. :)

I think that about covers it :) Simple answer, xporting in does not trigger any of the sector entry events.
