Anyone have any data concerning contracts in the Underground? Specifically, how long before a contract can't be collected. If i post a reward, cap the player, and don't collect the reward for a couple days... does it disappear?

You know, I believe it works that way at the Police Station, and if you don't claim it by externals you lose it, as far as contracts at Underground, I can't really say!

I can say from experience that you can collect on a contract at least a couple days after *SDing* the player. I just did it in a game I am currently playing. Although it was at Police Headquarters and not the Underground.

I like solo play, and it benefits me to drop alignment, thereby penalizing other reds for attacking me or my figs. It also gives me a way to safely stash the tons of cash I make using my haggling secrets

heh, when are you gonna share your haggling secrets with me? actually, your formulas would probably just give me headaches (heh) so what i should say, is when are you going to hook me up with a super haggle script that will get me a million credits per port. (i know the math says it can't be done, but i have faith that if anyone can do it, you can) hehe
also, solo low turn red play i could benifit from learning more about it (as i never do it, heh) if you ever feel the need to share your ultimate wisdom with the likes of me i can be found at 207-107-486
or if you just wanna play a game i'd never be opposed to corp with a guy who has trunks as his avatar, heh.

If you go red after #SD#ing someone, you can't collect the reward even after going back blue. Additionally, just because the police station no longer shows a reward doesn't mean it isn't there. Example: A red has 2 million posted on him then goes blue. If you kill him while he's blue and don't go red yourself doing it, you can go the police station, enter the player's name, and get the 2 million from him.

Good to know Harley. My guess is that the Underground contracts last until the contracted player gets #SD# again by any player.
