Maybe you should send a message to the guys who did this to you, could be sysop but I'm not one to cry foul. One possibility is that the person droped around the same # of figs on the planet once he claimed it. Interdictor planet is a puzzle though in a unlimited turn game you could repeatable try to leave the sector to drain it with a macro if the quasar was off, you could probable get about 3-4 exits or more depending on lag. I don't now the formulas for this but A lot of this I two would like to know how it all happened!

Doesn't look like it has a name other than an EIS server the address is 66.61.19.158 port 23, But the game rebanged today so it probably won't do any good. The guy's in the new game so I will look out for similar things, He's kinda annoying though, one day after I blew up his planet he cussed me out and accused me of cheating, Then figured out he had turned his messages off.

Who was the player that invaded you? If you feel comfortable posting the trader name, we could probably tell you even more. I've checked out the server, and I'm actually in a dead game on the server so I may be able to help you, it could become a reoccurring problem.

Fighters are only disabled for the wave duration. And your guess is probably right about how he got out from under the PIG. He just drained it. Each time the PIG activates, it uses 500 units of Fuel Ore. If you got a ton of messages about the PIG activating, and your planet has no ore left on it, you'll know for sure. It's also possible that he may have x-ported to another ship, and then went back, fired another photon wave and either towed his original ship out, or x-ported back into it and drove it out.
I recently tried, unsuccessfully, to escape from a PIG by draining the ore. Took a couple of 500 damage blasts, then drained it by exiting and re entering game and taking sector hits. When sector damage went to zero, I tried to warp out. PIG still held me, but did not deliver 500 damage.

Kav, at a certain point, a q-cannon will stop firing if it runs too low on fuel, even though there may still be enough fuel on the planet to work it's interdictor. (it depends on the cannon settings, and if it's MBBS or Gold, etc. It's rare, but I've seen it happen...) Usually you only have to try to escape a few more times, and it will use up the last bit of fuel and you should be able to flee then. I don't think that exiting the game will trigger the PIG, only when you try to move out of the sector.
Also, if there was an active defender on the planet, he might have turned off the sector q-cannon so there would still be fuel on the planet. Or there might have been another planet in the sector that also had a PIG, but didn't have it's cannon turned on. Or, there was an active player in the sector with an IC that was holding you, or... More info would help.
