Ok, I do remember that if you get a commission, you can transwarp directly to fedspace as if you had a fighter there, and you won't fuse yourself. Is that also true if you are a good player but haven't gotten the alignment yet to get a commission?
No, because...
(drum roll)
You can't deploy fighters in FedSpace. Even if you're over 1,000 alignment, you can't deploy fighters in FedSpace. Once you have your Federal Commission, you can TWARP directly to FedSpace... it'll give you a message about locking on to a Federation navigation beacon.

Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean the world's not out to get you.

Unless, of course, you KNOW that the sector is empty. And even then it's not a good idea because the only way you can be absolutely sure is if you are in the sector.
Thanks, yall.

Actually, If you are in the sector you can not be sure it is empty. You would have to be next to the sector and density scan it. Remember, even a limpet mine can mess up a blind warp.

on a related note, is it merely, if you twarp in without a fig in the sector you MAY fuse(probability), or is it guaranteed that if you blind twarp in you will fuse?

and what about if you just have a beacon in the sector?
I've always wondered about this, but never tried it

If you blind warp and there is anything in the destination sector you fuse. The only probability involved is that you will fuse. And them 100% house odds just aren't in the player's favor.

I would think you'd be able to TWARP lock on a beacon (doh, it's a BEACON), but sorry, no such luck.

Actually Rave, there have been times where I have blind T-warped and not fused. I dont know what the percent chance is on the board this happened on, but I know if the percentage has been changed then it is possible but not probable that a clean warp will happen.

If you blind warp to a completly empty sector, you will live 100% of the time. If ANYTHING is in the sector, you will fuse 100% of the time. This is not configurable.
