I became evil after destroying several people, now I'm red. I am still in my ISS but i want to sell it and get in a corp flagship..
Is it possible for me to go to SD and do this or will I get blown up as soon as i enter SD because I'm not suppose to be in an ISS if not commissioned?

The answer would be "YES" first time you try to move oh well.

It actually depends on how red you are. The more negative your alignment, the more likely zyrain will come kill you when you move. Also, entering the game is counted as a sector entry event and is treated by zyrain if you moved. If you go red in an ISS, your best bet is to xport out asap.

A thought I have is that if you have another ship, why not transport to it and tow the IIS to the stardock to sell it as an unmaned ship? Unless all you have is the IIS, in that case major bummers.

I agree with Orion. X'ing into a spare ship ASAP is the best course and if you don't have any spares, shame on you.

actually, this has been found to be wrong. im quoting from tw-cabal:
"* 36) If you are a Blue, and you have an ISS, as long as your alignment is not negative (zero is ok), you can move around and your ship won't get repossessed. If it ever goes negative, even to -1, your ISS will get shot out from under you by the Feds if you move. My advice is to x-port out of the ISS and fix your alignment asap. It used to be that if you moved into a sector with one of your figs, the feds wouldn't be able to get you, but there has been a change. I'm looking into this and will post an update soon! -T 1/13/03"

I like to point out ,
I turned into a RED in ISS after I pDroped
someone in a game .
And remained in that ISS buying EQ and fuel for planets.
So I concude that as long as your ship doesn't move out of
sector and use planets for travel .. your good in ISS [}:)]

If you go red in an ISS you need to get to a safe sector(i.e. a sector with another ship or planet),..FAST! Time is the issue here,..aside from towing it around and transporting to it,..I've noticed that you can only move in an ISS when your red,RIGHT AFTER you go red,..obviously it takes the captain a second or two to recieve the APB on your traitorious actions over the comm link...I believe i've moved around for several minutes once in one while i was red...

You can for a very short period of time as long as you use your planets to move or stay on your own fighters. If you move to an empty sector you are podded immediately. Best thing to do is immediately twarp home and swap ships.

While there is no set way that it always works, your alignment does affect the odds of your being podded.

You are not safe on your own fighters.

I have moved as many as 6-8 times on my own fighters being -4.5 Mil alignment and after that I got podded. I figured I would try it because someone told me I could do it. That was almost 18 months ago now but it worked for a very short time and I was moving between sectors with at least 50k fighters in them and my own planets.

There is only one way to have an ISS as an evil player. You can actually trap the zyrain in a dead end. In this case, he will be stuck. He will only twarp out if someone attacks a fed safe player in fedspace.
Correct me if i am wrong please.

Saying you can trap Zyrain is false; he may appear as if he isn't moving but basically he moves wherever he wants whenever he wants. He will move out of the deadend just as quickly to pod an evil in an ISS as he will to enforce fedlaw.
Nelson and Clauswitz however can be trapped... no point really though...

I dont see the point of Nelson and Clauswitz in the game when it is Zyrain doing all the work of enforcing fedlaw. The only time I ever seen either Nelson or Clauswitz kill someone is when they are "provoked" if you know what I mean. Otherwise, you attack a fedsafe in fedspace, Zyrain's there. You go red in an ISS, Zyrain's there. Where's Nelson and Clauswitz in those circumstances? Maybe they are banging each other in a gay bathhouse LOL
