I do believe I got censored. 11 of my messages have been removed. A forum that censors is no forum at all. It is a control vehicle. It's the same crap Gypsy used to try and pull with his site. Sayonara

Oh my gawd! I actually remember writing this!

Well, here I am. Obviously, I came back (after 10 frikkin years!). I have the new TWGS 2.07 now and am also building a new site to support it. I still suck at the game but who cares, right? One thing I can't seem to find any info on is how to make a few things dynamic, like game stats and so forth and unique ways to display them on a web page....

Anyone got any information sources on this?

You can pull all kinds of game stats within each game's startup menu using the * command, or generate an xml feed from the TWGS main menu for all games using the $ command. With that, you could generate web pages or whatever.

So, who was running the forum back when you got censored?

Any thoughts on expanding the command line options to dump some of this info to console? If so, we could dump them to a file and ftp them to where-ever we want.

You can get command line options by running TW2002.EXE from the command line. Currently this includes generating ranking files and the settings output.

I really couldn't tell you. I know that Gypsy and I took a disliking to each other early. I was around long before Fament and to be honest, never really joined that crowd even though I did play with some of those folk here and there. My real hay days were way back at the beginning of this game. I can still remember waiting in line to "burn my turns" on a dial up BBS somewhere a long ways from where I was at. My phone bills regularly exceeded my paycheck back then, LOL. I bet if you search some of the old stuff, you might even find my original handle. I used to own and run a health club in Vegas and my Handle was 'Musclehead'
