I'm not confused, but you seem to be. I know what script it is, and Archie didn't write it. Archie modified 2_worldtrade.cts from TWX pack 2 so that you could run it from the bot. The bot does not have an internal script, as it runs z2_worldtrade.cts externally. My suggestion is that you try the the original 2_worldtrade.cts from TWX pack 2.

I don't think your problems is the script though. I think you have corrupt warp data in TWX, or your settings are wrong, or Swath is on. You can only change the settings with the original script, and Archie's script will still use those settings.

I know the script you are talking about Micro, thanks for the suggestion but I tried running pack 2 worldtrade before I ever started looking for other world trade scripts, could never get it to work either. Not sure if sometimes in the past I didn't forget to turn the lightbulb (SWATH helper as you say) off. I doubt it has always been database corruption, although I do have scripts that don't run right the first time so I suppose it is possible you could be onto something there.

In this case I think you might be right. I tried to import an exported twx file from SWATH into TWXProxy and it gave me a message about it couldn't import, incorrect database size, and a couple of scripts I have been working on got locked into a loop or something so it could possibly be a database corruption.

I don't know enough about importing and exporting TXW databases between SWATH and TWXProxy to know for sure, but I would think they should be compatible. A long time ago you had to pick between TWXProxy ver 1.x or 2.x for exporting and importing the databases, but that was back in like the early 2000's. But I didn't swap around the twx exports much between them (always figured they are supposed to be capturing the same data from the game) so I don't know for sure if that size mismatch error is because of corrupted database on one side or the other, or if I am getting it because they don't want to play nicely together

I'll keep looking at it, try some different things, it's just a test game for scripting and I'm not far into it so no big deal to delete either database or the database from both and start over from scratch. CIM download and a couple of other things and I would think I'm back in business anyway.

If you are exporting from swath, remove the first and last lines with the : in them.

I recommend doing it the other way around though. Run your ZTM in TWX, and then export to swath, of course you will need to add the first and last lines... :/

Umm if you run the TWX ZTM from within Swath it updates both since it is reading as the data comes in. I never had a problem with importing or exporting since Swath saw everything I was doing anyway.....

True T0yman, Swath will collect your TWX ZTM if it is connected and logging while the ZTM is running...

I have done it with teamates though... You would think that either program should be able to read the others warpspec export, but they can't...

Thanks for that info on the exporting/importing between the 2 helpers, always good to learn something new, even though it's hard since I'm an old dog

I was trying to import SWATH database into TWXProxy because I was thinking since it was TWX scripts I messed up on and got caught into a loop and had to kill TWX, it was more likely that the TWX data had been corrupted. Am I mistaken there do you think?
