Does anyone have an idea where to download the newest (I know its old) version of TWXSync? I lost the copy I had.

 Re: TWXSync
I found a copy of 1.03 but it just closes after 30 seconds no matter what compatibility mode I try. I had to load it in Windows XP xp3 just to get the registration entered. On Windows 7 it closes with an error before I can even register. I dont think Earth fixed the "ping twattac.com" error. Before the site went down it worked most of the time.

H What about adding an entry in your /etc/hosts (or windows equiv) to point that domain at 127.0.0.1?

H If so, then a simple redirect of the domain may not be enough, but if you can figure out what it expects in return, you could stub it out via apache/iis/whatever. On the other hand, you may get lucky and just the fact that the domain resolves is enough to get around that error and into code that better handles server failures.

 Re: TWXSync
Didn't work for mine..... It was working fine and then it just started to shutdown..... I hope there is a solution. Forgot to say, my version is 1.03 also.

Forgot to say, my version is 1.03 also. Yes, using that work-around let me keep it open enough to register it. But it always closes within 30 seconds or so. H
