 (D)ial Up Game
Just started this game to simulate the old day's of DOS
Game: D (Dial Up Game)
1 Hr of Play (But the #of moves is ridiculously high 65,000) 2,000 sectors Aliens and Ferrengi are the only Races. Game shuts down from 12:00AM - 1:16 for Extern and Maintnance High scores only update at Extern only one player allowed in the game at a time. ummm... oh ya 4800 BPS
The Zoom Telephonics took a beating and kept humming through the night.
If you haven't checked out my Game server in a while.. I've had a bit of a graphics update, and a server update as well: 25 games available, 100 connections. I have *NO* Intention of running 25 games... but its nice to have the option, and the money went to a good cause.
Link is in the signature.

Quote: is the Server down? A dial up site from 6 years ago is now offline? Inconceivable. Bro, do you even dial up?

Bro, do you even dial up? it was actually a telnet game, just using the emulation setting to slow it down to modem speeds. My first modem was a 300 baud acoustic coupler. You actually had to dial first and then put the handset into the modem's cradle.
