Polls : where to they belong ?

I am aware that there was some discussion of a game , and a poll was made.

The problem .. I don't read Smack or Open Discussion .. both are not in my taste so I stick to the other areas in my dailie search.

I'de suggest that Polls be brought to the top if you want 100% partisapation.

I'm just asking because i want to get it clear in my head.
Are you saying that because certain users don't read certain areas that those area's shouldn't be allowed to have polls?
I think polls should go where the auther wants them.(unless they are inappropiate for the forum)
The Auther should take into consideration what the reader base may be in certain forums..But i think its a little much to dis-allow polls in general discussion or in Smack just because certain users may or may not read that particualr area.

I'm going to half agree with you SG.
General Discussion ought to have a poll, but not smack talk.
Considering how we post in smack, our polls will probably reflect that.

if polls are posted as stickys they will rise to the top of what ever topic there posted into.
as for a smack area poll, no i think thats more then
that area can handle, and the ability to create polls is a moderator, admin power, not one for the users.
