 server issues? I have been told posting in a server's rebang thread about server problems and questions is inappropriate by a wannabe moderator.

Okay tomorrow I will make a server issues area for the players and sysops alike, thanks, I have one on my forums, didn't look to see if we had one here, thanks Cern on reminding me.

Would be a good idea to have an area as Cerne suggested, providing it's uses to outline issues on a server to bring to a SysOp's attention, and not to become another flame section.

Thats what I tried to do in my post in Game Bangs but someone jumped my back. Vulcan, if you are looking for volunteers to moderate it, I would be happy to try my hand. I think we would want to keep it focused on server problems and their solutions, not finger pointing or complaining. They can go to smack for that.
On a second note, can we add to the name of this forum, to make it: 'Forum Grievances and Suggestions'? Since suggestions don't really fit into the 2 Forum/Site technical support forums. An excellent idea. Would be nice to have a specific area for the SysOps to go and get help with their TWGS. Perhaps instead of grievances, you could use SysOp Suggestions & Technical Help or something like that.

I was talking about this forum (name change) and a player forum (for reporting or discussing server problems) while it sounds like you want one in the sysop area for Server Problems/Q&A. Is that about right?

Well we have that already in the SysOp/GameOp area, do we not? I was a bit overtired in replying to this topic, but what I was trying to say is if we have an "area" as you suggested for reporting server problems, we'll need to be sure it stays as that and not another flame area to tear down SysOp's or players.
