There was great irritation when EIS changed from this format:
http://web.archive.org/web/200012082333 ... nline.com/ TWForum/default.htm
to :
http://web.archive.org/web/200406091315 ... ww.eisonli ne.com/twforum/forum.asp

Whats wrong with Earth's version? It is different, so what. He has unintrusive plugs for ATTAC?
Jayzus, the man is providing a FREE Forum. If he wants to sell his mother-in-law off on
the sidebar, fine by me.

People need to get real. Change happens. When I started using computers we had to
use punch cards for God's sake. Took 3 days to get the Darn things to the machine,
run them, get back the printed result. One single "syntax error" (eg, a colon instead of a semicolon)
made for a six day turnaround.

heh I remember those times as well, when in the navy we had to learn on punch cards for the puters, man that was a drag till we got to the real things and when things updated I had a ball.

Vulcan, pls add this to the list.

Taking note of it, I only had a problem with it once, so far no problems, also we need to look at the signature, to see if we can get it to use more character spaces as well for the sigs.

Sorry Vulcan, Login still dont remember me???
I remember the days of ticker tape and ceramic core memory (4 bits) I was glad when punchcards came out.
and the invention of amber&green CRT screens.

But sometimes change is NOT a good thing.

Just Clicking the little red [X] in the top right corner or
surfing to another page. or even [ALT F4] to close.
Not to sound like a A-hole, but if I log out, I would think
I would have to log back in. thats not the case here.
im useing XP PRO, and Browser is IE6.

I made a change that "might" alleviate the auto-login problem. Godzilla, please tell me if it is working properly now.

No offense intended nor implied in this reply.

Internet Explorer in any of it's versions is not a good browser for many reasons, not least that it clutters up your disk with all kinds of garbage records, and tries to connect and report to Redmond , for "statistical purposes". Try something else. I use Opera. The free version is at least as good as IEx.

Small laptop here. I use a telescope to read the screen and a walking cane to hit the keys.

Gorilla,
Seems to me that the problems are at your end. Might be antiquated hardware.
