The Plan for all the v1.03 TWA files I have aquired.
The Plan for all the v1.03 TWA files I have acquired.
For copies of all the v1.03 TWA files I have.... 1. Import them into a v1.xx TWGS (currently v1.03beta) 2. Set "Interactive Sub-Prompts" = On 3. Run Prom's MakeAnsi for v1 TWGS 4. Export the TWA (with v1xx in parenthesis at the end of the file name) 5. Post the result here. 6. Import them into a 2.xx TWGS (currently v2.20b) 7. Run Prom's MakeAnsi for v2 TWGS 8. Run T-Edit's "Repair Gold Data" 8. Export the TWA (with v2xx in parenthesis at the end of the file name) 9. Post the result here.
What's the end result of this? 1. "Interactive Sub-Prompts" will be on in every edit, now the rule rather than the exception. 2. All the TWA files for v1.xx and v2.xx TWGS will have text files in the game's ansi directory for ships and planets in the TWA file. 3. Gold Data will be repaired before the export for v2.xx TWA files 4. Consistency. 5. Remove the need for settings files except what you can get from "S', "*", and "$". (depending on the type of TWGS)

This is awesome, Helix.
I'm starting to think about ways to integrate a TWA repository into TWGS so it will be easy to pull down these game edits and start using them, and to get them in front of everyone with a TWGS installed so more people can take advantage of them. So what you're doing will help immensely.
