Forum rules
1. Each thread must begin with the Tournament Name, date expected to open, host server information, and rules if this information is available.
2. After the tournament officially opens, we will then open the thread to general discussion of the tournament.
3. There will be one thread here per tournament.
4. Members not in the game are allowed to comment on the game, however if this results in arguments that get personal the member NOT playing will be banned from the thread. This can be a temporary or permanent ban.
5. Posts viewed by the admin/moderators of this site as being out of line with the intent of this thread, can be moved or deleted at the moderators discretion.
6. Continued violations of the rules of this thread can result in the temporary or in extreme cases a permanent ban from this thread.

 HHT 2017Greetings Programs... MicroBlaster network is proud to present HHT 2017.
The Haunted Halloween Tournament is dedicated to the memory of Space Ghost, and those that miss him. This is an open tournament with no sign up required. You can play solo, BYOC, or form/join a corp after game starts. Tournament "Days to Enter" will be set to 3, so no one will be able to enter the game after that time. Hosted by: Leviathan Tradewars v1.03/3.13 Server: twgs.leviathantw.com Port: 2002 • Unlimited Time • 1200 Turns • 10000 Sectors • 6 Trader Corps • No Delays • No Truce The tournament start date has changed, and will now open Friday October 27th at 9 pm Eastern Time Tournament mode is off in the practice game, but on in the tournament game with a death limit of 20 and death delay will be OFF. Game duration will be 30 days. At the end of day 30 on the "V" screen, the game will be considered stale if there is no clear dominating team or player. if someone wants to Sysop the game and doesn't have a good place to host I'm happy to rent a virtual server for three months (or however long we require). I won't dictate which one we use; that can be decided. As long as it doesn't cost more than $20/30 a month I'd be happy to do it. Given your knowledge setting these things up Micro; you could set up for said Sysop and then have them change password etc. Technically if I set it up I could request a password change and get access. However the sysop would loose access and know something is up. Regardless I'd also be happy to paypal them money so they can sign up/set up themselves. Offer is there if people are worried about hosting at home where cats knock out cables... Don't have UPS and other commercial level redundancies. Cheers, Hammer |

my resume: Black Knights perma corp, and DU perma corp. Have won a few tournaments....getting back into the game....most the people who can vouch for me no longer play...but Vid is still around...I am sure he will give me a good reference. thanks Hollywood |

Also if other players know there is potentially a pick-up corp they might also join. If you guys are definitely turning up i might hassle a few semi-retired players I know to come too? Four corps in a tournament would be great. It's a fairly slow edit so it'll be 'forgiving' for those who are rusty, no one is going to lock it down on day 1. |
