I can connect to the normal server, but not the tourney server.

restart opinion:

Our carefully planned start was screwed - we recovered and did well.
I wanted a re-started after 30 seconds, thought, I wont complain.

If you wanted a restart - ask in first 5 minutes - dont' wait four hours..

so it's a no for our corp.

Shadow's corp - he said he was just playing for day 1 and then cbying? so if that's true, of course he'd want a re-start (I dont think it's you asking shadow). My point is that you probably shouldn't get much of say if technically your done with the game?

We voted yes, but were also prepared to quit before the discussion even started. We had a very carefully planned start, and while you were also screwed up by the server, you recovered better than us - but I suspect your game plan was less reliant on the first 30 seconds.

We knew you would be tough to beat and we had a plan for it but it was a narrowly focused plan, and we were denied the opportunity to execute it due to a server problem. Nobody's fault it is what it is. Enjoy your (short) game and victory over Bud's team.



That was rhetoric when we were upset over the changes made to the edit this year. We weren't going to quit if we had the opportunity to play the game as we expected.

We will not be playing ICE again in the future if the edit remains modified in the ways done this year. These edits were specifically targeted narrowly to support a certain style of game play and to deny certain strategies. I hope the edit returns next year to the historical style of ICE.

Yeah, us too half of our corp wasn't able to log in at all for a while. Rough start, not exactly how we practiced but in the end we didn't do too badly.

We're looking forward to the rest of this tourney.

For the record. I have no idea what happened at start up I was at keys and in game and from my side everything looked normal.

I didn't know about the server start up issues untill the game was over a hour old. Had I known, I prob would have suggested the re-start then.

Nobody asked me for a restart until almost 1am ET. by that time is was too late. Had I re-started hammer's corp prob would not have come back. so either way I was screwed.

We're not upset or complaining about you not restarting, you asked and only 2 of the 3 corps voted for it. If we had a big lead we probably would have opposed it too, I guess.

We were too busy trying to recover from the bad start to think about asking for anything for the first hour or two, and by then it was too late. We would have responded 'yes' if we had been asked in the first few minutes but didn't think about it as an option then.

I still like the idea that someone proposed, that both Hammer and our corp should quit so that Prestone can be declared the winner again as the only Corp to play it. He needs a second win in his signature.
