Whatever happens going forward, after seeing your team cby on the very first day. it already feels like a victory.

Your chances of victory went down from less than 1% to 0%, congrats. I'm not sure how you figure they went up when one of the only two serious teams is gone - instead of the other serious team focusing on slowing our start, now they can focus all of their energy immediately on killing you. You were always an afterthought.

You could always try to wait it out and declare victory when they get bored and quit, though. You know, in your established style. Only team in / last one standing is the winner! Yay us!

Unfortunately, too many tourneys today end in stalemates. But, we'll see.

Thanks for the comment about the banner, I updated mine but didn't keep track off all the tourneys won between 1998 and 2002.

At least we didn't CBY out because we had a rough start. We hung in and made the best of it. No one #SD# so that's a great start!

Better luck next tourney buddy. Perhaps there will not be a rule against mega corping so you can send in two "serious" teams again.

Also I know what your associate did and it crossed the line. There will be a discussion on the matter after this tournament is over.

WHAT IS ALLOWED

1. Sharing Intel. You are aloud to pass Intel. on other teams activities to other teams if you feel you must.

2. Alliances between teams is discouraged but permitted as it would be impossible to enforce. This is an ethical grey area. Two teams may team up to kill a 3rd before killing each other if you feel you must.

This is why there is a points system in this tourney and all tourneys should have one.

Point systems are for people who suck so much at tradewars that their only hope of winning a tournament is hiding in a bubble in a tholian for 30 days until the clock runs out.

Any tournament won by a point system should be
(a) redesigned to prevent this outcome in any future run of it and
(b) declared to have no winners since nobody was good enough to actually win it - by invading and killing the enemies
