Does anyone know the exact formula for calculating interest on money stored in a cit's treasury?

Citadel interest is 2% compounded continuously.

Actually, it's more in line with .000023176% compounded once/second. Over a 24 hour period, this equals out to around 2.022%/day. Formula for this is A(t) = A(0)e^rt if anyone is interested :)

Wow, I didn't know you had it in you K3. Impressed.
So, you wanna help with trade algorithms? ;)

I'm interested though... is the TWGS actually updating citadel credit amounts every second, or is it like Schrodinger's cat where it's updated when you check on it? Probably a JP question.

It actually updates based on timestamps when you check. I would imagine it uses the interest forumla and the rate for one second to calculate it, based on how much time has elapsed, but I'm not certain. I could be tested by looking for variances based on the frequency of checks, but I don't care enough to do that :P
