I was playing with the first version of the script and noticed it was Ferrengi only. I was bored so I wrote one that does Gold Aliens.
NOTE: Make sure the Aliens in Gold Area are "ACTIVE".

It reads the Gold Alien and when you hit "F" from the menu it shows all gold aliens. The menu for F will always display 0 at start, something was causing an issue when running random so I made a small work around. I have only tested it to 500 random sectors. If you find an error please feel free to let me know I will do what I can, I hope this helps some people add some other changes to the game. If you see an option I might have overlooked let me know I will see what I can do to add it.

Usage: Connect to T_Edit through TWX enter E then (desired game) and start script

A) Maximum Sectors to Fig :15
B) Minimum Figs Per Sector :35
C) Maximum Figs Per Sector :75
D) Type 0=Def, 1=Toll, 2=Attack, 3=Random :3
E) Delay between sectors (default 500ms) :500
F) Race (default 0) :0
G) Go!
S) Stop Script!

Previous version has been fixed, my apologies I upped the wrong one last night. It would not cause any issues, but it would hang instead of running through all the way.... sorry.

Seeing as how T-Edit wording changes each version (no consistency) here is a version that works for 2.10. If you find a problem please forward I will do what I can to correct ASAP. I added a small change to show what alien race you selected @ option "F".

Toyman,

Thanks for adding this - I am finally looking to bring back a long-running game that I used to host, only this time with Beta and 30k sectors. This ability to pre-fill the universe and make things more interesting is appreciated.
