That isn't the kind of thing you use to win, since it has such a low hit rate and it's crazy easy for ppl to switch SS chans. It's the kind of thing you have fun with, and if you get lucky and it provides some info then you can use it to create a little chaos.
8 player corp in a 1500 turn game on day 1. Turns finished in say 2 or 3 hours?
Task = crawl sub space and send "all qss" and wait 2 seconds for a response "You must be logged into this bot" (It can be done in 1.5 seconds but we'll say 2)
Corpie one task = 1 thru 10,000
Corpie two task = 10,001 thru 20,000
Corpie three task = 20,001 thru 30,000
Corpie four task = 30,001 thru 40,000
Corpie five task = 40,001 thru 50,000
Corpie six task = 50,001 thru 60,000
Corpie seven task = ZTM (30k sectors aproximately 4.5 hours)
Corpie eight task = watch reactions of other corps
(20,000 seconds = 5.5 hours)
So the task of a ZTM takes just a bit less time than the task of getting all of the opposing corps sub channels. And that's only if you go thru all 60k channels before you find them, so it could be less time. There might be someone recognize that you did it, but prolly not if done in the middle of the night.
I think this is something that could contribute to a win. We'll find out soon enough, because I'm betting not everyone has changed their mombot script yet. and all it takes is one person with the old module that sends "You must be logged into this bot".
