I found a returning player that hasn't played in several years and would like to re-learn Tradewars
problem is there are not too many fresh games outside of UTW (and I have made my feelings very clear about playing there)

Is anyone interested in corping with me and this particular individual against another similar sized corp while I try and teach him
some strategies and techniques that I have learned exactly this way?

Any unlim edit or a high turn game would be acceptable. I want to teach some techniques that might require some repetition so
turns games not such a good idea yet.

From a limited conversation with him he/she has played 2 games in the last 4-6 years and they didn't know about TWXProxy so I did what every TW ambassador does... pointed him to Grimy's, this forum, and to TW-Cabal any more suggestions?
OK I lied... I first photoned him, capped his ship, then I gave em 500K and told em about Grimy's

Wish I could remember my first mentor the only thing I remember was he had a signature that said something to the effect
of you hear a faint metallic click on your hull and he was a member of the Outfit, then there was
Zark which we had so much fun trying to teach others ... that was like the blind leading the blind. and I am sure I have forgotten someone I am/was grateful for the opportunity to learn from my pods...

Please lets get a game together so I can make sure that the inside of a pod still smells like a new ship.

WEll bro, depending on key time and your feeling's about UTW. I'd say go 2 games same time.

1) Take him over to Ice9 noob builder games... believe it's a 15 day ship to ship truce and 30 day base truce if I recall to go over basics.

2)grab Mr's "I beat Kraaken" Lonestar...lol...find two more players. and rep REV's server in the EIS game. You can be the CEO, I voted for ya.

Has to be said that beating Krakken was a Team effort. Yes oh yes. Putting on the jack boots and walking all over your grid w/o getting hit and then taking all your turns away was my part . Kaus became something of an expert in Podding you with pdrops, plocks, and sinister Evil Stares , Tracker was the uber Casher, stealing ports , and Wyvern the mighty Builder/Base finder and tactician .
