Anyone interested in a "Big Game" tournament?

I'm thinking of a start date around the first week of June, and we would need to pick teams by the first week of April, so peeps have time to practice. The last one I am aware of was hosted by Bounty Hunter in 2013.

This is a Draft tournament with two captains, so I need nominations for Team Captains.

That edit was based on my research of Big Game tournaments posted on the forum, or I am open to suggestions.

Traditionally Big Game was a draft only game with two captains, but I am open to BYOC + Draft. I would still like to limit it to two captains. The captains will alternate turns picking from the draft. The captain does not have to be the in-game CEO.

I'll volunteer to captain 2nd team... Evil Multinational Corp is now pushing 10 members total, we'll just need to take on 5 more.

Which version of TWGS will you be using?

The exalted leader has spoken. I can not MAKE people play. Some of my corpies will NOT be here. You want me to tell them they can't go on vacation?
Some of the people I play with will absolutely not play on V-2. I can't make them sit at keys and do something they don't want to.

No one is telling you how to run a tourney we're telling you we can't play under these circumstances. But I guess you already told me how much you care. So have a good game, good luck to all.

Can I offer a suggestion.. no conditions.. just a SUGGESTION, an IDEA, nothing more, nothing less....


Can you distribute the ZTM file to team captains X minutes before the game so we don't have 3-4 hours of unplayable conditions at the start of the tournament.

I mean, it's not like ZTM'ing is a secret or anything? I'll let others discuss pro/cons of this, I'm sure it's been discussed.

I agree(sorry about that BTW). am thinking about doing the same for next years ice. if I can make it work, but another way around that would be to pick one member from each corp to do your ztm.
